Lead a $350K Retail Operation Supporting 1,800 Students

Killara High School P&C is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Uniform Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operation and ongoing improvement of our Uniform Shop.

This is an opportunity for an experienced retail operator to take ownership of a well-established school retail operation, working closely with the P&C President, P&C Committee and School Administration.

About the Role

Approximately 8-15 hours per week, generally across two days onsite, with additional flexibility during peak periods such as Year 7 Orientation and fitting.

You will oversee:

• Retail operations and customer experience

• Inventory, purchasing and supplier relationships

• Online ordering and Munch Monitor

• Two Assistant Managers and volunteers

• Financial and operational administration

• Key annual programs including Year 7 fittings

The Uniform Shop is an important front-facing representative of Killara High School, particularly for new families. You will help ensure that every interaction reflects the professionalism, welcoming culture and standards of the School and P&C.

About You

We are looking for an experienced retail manager with a demonstrated ability to manage an operation of similar scale and complexity, ideally $300K–$500K+ annual turnover.

You will bring strong retail, inventory, purchasing and people-management skills, excellent customer service and communication abilities, and a genuine interest in improving how a business operates.

Experience in a school uniform shop, school retail environment or similar community-based operation will be highly regarded.
